I have changed to DVD record for Nefertiti Resurrected from the 099 field to
a 050 field and still nothing comes up if I just do a call number search for
DVD! UGH! I don't understand this. Anyone else have any ideas?

Using Millennium Silver:

We've got a situation that I have not had any luck trying to figure out.
There are times in which we want to do a call number search, just to see
what we have in our VHS or DVD collections. Both utilize the 099 field, and
both use subfield a's for data. Here's the dilemma: If you go to our
library website (http://library.trevecca.edu/ <http://library.trevecca.edu/>
), you can do a call number search just for VHS and get a listing of our VHS
videos (they all begin with VHS). Our DVD's are done the EXACT same way,
using 099 field, subfield a's, all starting with DVD. But if you try to do
a call number search for DVD, it says that no records are found.

Here are two specific records, the first of which is a VHS title and the
second is a DVD title:

Title: Newspaper industry

Call Number: VHS 2722

Title: Nefertiti resurrected

Call Number: DVD DT 87.45 .N44

This happens in all of the Millennium clients as well. Any advice will be
greatly appreciated!
