Hi Brenda, (and Joan) I like your solution based
on modifications to the Locations Served. In answer to
Brenda's original quuestion, the system is smart enough
to realize, that for items on hold that the patrons DO pickup,
no notification is needed, and the notice does go away.
(If you try sending notices in Telnet, it displays a list
of all the ones "no longer needed")
The ones that do accumulate are the Hold Cancellations,
and you should dump those (maybe once a month).
