Hi all,
We have similar problem and III had sent the reply:

============
I have gotten word back from our Software Engineering department, and it
turns out that this is the way that the wwwoption is supposed to
work. The wwwoption is designed to behave exactly as described in the User
Manual, meaning that if you remove or leave the wwwoption without a value,
then it will insert the default text in the web OPAC.

The way that you had it set up was never a documented feature, but a
loophole in how wwwoptions worked. With Silver, we had to change our logic
to strip trailing spaces from wwwoptions (to solve problems with many other
wwwoptions breaking when there was a trailing space) and now leaving this
wwwoption blank will not work as it did before.

If you would like to see this feature available in a future release of the
web OPAC, you may submit an enhancement request
