This is what I find out about receipt printing and autocut in Silver:

I have Epson TM-T88III, USB connection. I am not speaking about other
brand of printers:

The bad news is: it still does not autocut, either as the TM-T88III
printer or as generic text printer. When I use generic text printer, I
can enter the printer ending job command: <1d><56><42><10>. When I do a
test printing, the printer autocuts. But if I select this printer as
the receipt printer, it will not autocut even after I have chosen the
right format and number of lines to eject and form feed--you can do all
these in MilSilver. By the way, the maximum lines to eject is 9.

The good news is that now it will print in the right format, either as a
text printer or the TM-T88III, because now you can tell the MilSilver
that it is 40 columns wide. And it prints through USB. I used to
configure it through "net use" command to get USB connection to work.

I would be interested in anybody's experience in getting Epson TM-T88III
USB connection to auto-cut.
