Setting up auto notices

Using Millennium Silver:

 

I was wondering if anyone had any difficulty setting up auto notices.  We
have had the feature turned on our system, but when we try to save a set of
parameters, we're prompted for "A file save printer must be selected".  When
we choose a printer and select "Print", that same message comes up.  Any
ideas?
