RE: Offsite servers

Our server (both for the previous system and for Millennium) has been
offsite from the beginning.  Our Millennium server lives in our city's
computer room, with all the power backup and protection that the rest of
the city servers have, and is behind the city firewall.  Our wonderful
T.S. team wrote a script that allows us to use a 6-cartridge tape box to
automatically remove one tape and place the next one in the drive so
that their staff only has to change tapes for our backups once a week. 
It has worked beautifully for the last year+, and with the Millennium
Silver automatic backup verification, has cut down on my anxiety level
for the backup routine.
