It's been very hard to track down, and even now I'm not entirely sure
it's only an IE problem. After sending the first email yesterday, I went
home and tried it from that computer, and had to revalidate in both
Netscape and IE.
This morning I tested again at home (deleting all the cookies, etc.) and
still had to revalidate once with both. Now at work I find I need to
revalidate multiple times for IE (such as before every new link - holds,
items, etc.), but not at all for NS.
I've noticed one interesting thing. In the temporary Internet files on
my computer, the files for patroninfo, holds, and items all have an
expiration date & time of one hour before I accessed it.
My work computer is set to accept all cookies.
School starts next week (grad programs this week) so I'm hoping to get
this fixed before then!
