We have a bookmobile in our system and they do use the offline
circulation. We created terminal or statistical group numbers for each
stop and then when they bring up their offline circulation session, they
change the number at each stop. Transactions are then uploaded and
processed. One quirky thing about those stat groups or terminal numbers is
that they work fine for circ statistics and reports. However, the system
does not put those numbers into the INLOC and OUTLOC fields of the item
records, instead it is the stat group or terminal number of the session
processing the uploaded transactions so there is never a way to go back and
see at what stop a specific item was checked in or out. It may not matter
to you but in our situation it does sometimes but we are learning to deal
with it.
