Hi,
I am a bit confused about the Silver enhancement of "improved handling of
year display to check the 008 field for the date before falling back to the
current method if no date is found in that field." Has anyone activated
this yet so I can see how it looks in your catalog?
Specifically I'm wondering how does it handle multiple years? For instance,
in our catalog (
http://simon.ups.edu) if you search for journal title
Living Age the 260 |c is 1897-1941. The webpac browse display shows 1941.
Will this show the 008 date field one of 1897?
