We see the same problem also. Not consistent, and more likely
to happen if we have run one report, and then attempt to run
another report with different criteria for retrieval.

Subject: Headings Report in MilCat
I was wondering if anyone was having problems with MilCat crashing when
running the Headings Report? I try to check our headings every morning, but
for the past 2-3 days, the client crashes. For example, I select one of the
reports (ex., Duplicate Authority Records) and then it runs, giving me
"Processing. Preparing report" status, but eventually it crashes. The exact
message I get is this:
"The server is not responding. The client must be restarted. If this
problem persists, please contact Innovative."
I don't know why we're getting this message now. It has worked before, even
if there wasn't anything to report. Any ideas?
