Yes.... we have been using it to load from OCLC (CATME) and from our book
vendor (Academic). We will be loading patron in about a week. I have to
make changes to the patron load table first.
This has worked great for us since the new staff PC we have installed this
summer do not have our old telnet application. We have also moved to DHCP
so none of our machines have static IPs.
Staff is much happier with Data Exchange then with telnet.
If you need more info let me know.

Hi,
Can people who are on Silver tell us how Data Exchange is working? Does it
totally do away with the need to use character based Read/Write MARC records
to get a bunch of records (xpo.dat) you've exported from CATME into the
Innopac? For some reason I was thinking it wasn't fully implemented in
Silver, that that wouldn't come until 2005, but reading the manual
description makes it seem like it is here now.
Thanks,
Sue
