I would be interested. I did go to the IUG meeting this past April in
Boston. We always send at least one person to the annual meeting.

Subject: IUG for Arizona
Hi,
I'm curious how much interest there would be in forming an Arizona IUG. I've
spoken to several folks who sound like they'd be up for it. I'm aware of 6
III library systems in the state, all up and down the I-10/17/19 corridor.
Unfortunately the distance is so great it may not be practical to do much
with surrounding states. But maybe folks in New Mexico would be interested,
too.
I was involved in an Arizona users group for a different system and it
worked well. Benefits can include group training and presentations by the
vendor, as well as the obvious sharing scenarios. And the staff who don't
get to go to the national IUG can often attend these meetings. I would guess
meeting once or twice a year would be feasible.
You can reply to me and I'll try to coordinate. I'm hoping all eligible are
tuned in to the list. If you know of any one who may miss it, please pass
this along.
Thanks
