- Subject: images on navigation bar
HI,
Page # 100023 in the (Rel. 2002) manual describes how you can change the
images on the Millennium navigation bar. (Why this is under Millennium
Guide | Starting and Ending a Session instead of Customizing Your
Millennium Module I'll never understand.) Has anyone worked with this much?
It would be nice to get images that make more sense than the default
Innovative ones.
The manual gives the maximum size in terms of kilobytes but my limited
experience says there is a size limit in terms of pixels as well. I tried
one image that was under 30K and looked to be the right size when I viewed
it in other applications but I could only see part of the image on the nav
bar. One picture of a globe that works well for "global update" measures 32
x32 pixels (WxH). This also allows the Global Update label to show. It
could go a little larger if you didn't want to use the labels.
I'd like to figure it out without too much experimenting because as far as
I can tell there is no way to remove unwanted images once they've been
loaded on the server. They don't seem to go into the same screens location
as the webpac gifs, which I know how to delete. I already have a few
unusable images on there cluttering the list of available images.
