- Subject: Network Issues?
We have been having problems most of the day at both of our library
locations. Some staff can log in to Millennium and telnet without any
problems. It takes other staff between 5 and 15 minutes to get the
Millennium module open. Doesn't matter if it is circ, cat or whatever.
Once logged in, the response time is very, very slow. Example: We have
2 computers at our Circ Desk. One is working fine while the other was
so slow that staff went to circ offline to check patrons out.
III has looked at our server and says everything looks ok.
Our city IT department says everything looks ok at their end.
The server has been rebooted. We are beta test site, but have not had
this problem before.
Has anybody else ever seen this situation? Any guesses? Any clues?
