Description: 
The Fauquier County Department of Information Technology is recruiting for
the position of Library System Analyst. This position will be responsible
for assessing, planning and evaluating current and emerging technology needs
for the library. Position will assist with the development and
implementation of library-related technology. Position will also be
responsible for analyzing new electronic library information trends,
managing the library automation system, coordinating library network and
microcomputer needs, and participating in the development and maintenance of
the library Web site. 

Qualified applicants must possess an American Library Association (ALA)
accredited Master of Library or Information Science, supplemented by three
years of responsible related experience and/or training that includes
experience with client/server library automated systems, computer networks
and applications as they relate to library activities, and knowledge of
electronic technologies for libraries for reference, bibliographic, and
database applications. Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia driver's
license. Excellent benefits. Starting salary is $39,077.53.
