POSITION VACANCY Cataloging/Reference

Marian College seeks applicants for a cataloging/reference librarian
position.  Responsibilities:  Responsibilities include assisting the
technical/electronic services librarian in cataloging all formats
including archives and providing service at the reference desk as
assigned by the library director.  Some evening and weekend hours are
required.  Qualifications:  MLS; cataloging experience or course work
using OCLC, AACR2, MARC formats, LC subject headings and Dewey
classification; working knowledge of print resources and electronic
reference databases; a strong pro-active commitment to helping students,
faculty and staff; strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work
independently and as part of a team; willingly support the Mission and
Core Values of the College.  This is an 11 month non-tenure track
faculty position at the rank of instructor.
