We will be implementing AVS soon, and I am still flummoxed about what
exact editing I need to do in wwwoptions file, opacmenu.html,
srchhelp_*.html and other files. The only mention of keyword I find
anywhere is the srchhelp_w.html call from our main Innopac page. What am
I missing? Does someone have an actual checklist of changes that I can
go through and make?!
I have just prepared this, and our basis is the Phase 3 staging opac
menus. Our changes were in:
help_index.html (we had commented out the avs help)
libinfo files (we had specific ones for the new opac features)
mainmenu(s) and opacmenu(s) (the html dropdowns and we had commented
out the advanced search icon)
srchhelp_d.html (we had changed the word to w from X here)
wwwoptions (DROP_DOWN, and check that the AVS options are as you wish).
I also was told by III that the AVS_TAG option order will determine
which type of search is offered on a failed search, or a convert to word
search. The first listed will be offered.
Those are it, as far as I know.
