The next version of Millennium, Millennium Silver (due around June) is supposed to allow printing of notices from a local printer, as opposed to a "networked local" (which is not the same as a system printer...) printer. Before you go to to much trouble to get the printing working with Millennium now, you may just want to wait for the upgrade. That's what we're doing, too.

Subject: Printing circ notices from MilCirc

We would like to print our circulation notices and bills from Millennium but are having a problem getting it to work. There are no system printers in our setup but we do have networked printers (jet direct) as the default. Printing in general seems to work fine but bills and fines seem to require a special setup.

If anyone is able to print bills and fines to a networked printer using MilCirc, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks.
