Manually enter inventory date?

'Morning all=
We're at the tail end of our inventory and were wondering if there is a way to manually work with the INVDate field-
for example, we have a truck of items that were returned after inventory, but are separated by more than 10,000 in the stacks, so the inventory program stops at that point.
It would be faster to manually enter invdates for these items than to make a bunch of little files to run through the inventory routine.
Also would be nice to be able to globally update the INVDate via a created list.
Any ideas?
