Karen: Our bills state the following: "The following item(s) have been billed for replacement. Return of these item(s) leaves only the fine(s) owing. Items not returned or fines not paid may be forwarded to a Collection Agency for further action."

If your library uses a collection agency, do you include wording to that
affect on your bills and statements of charges? If so, would you be
willing to share your wording with the list?
Ours currently states that if the bill is not paid within 30 days that
the patron will be turned over to the collection agency.
