Yes, lots of people are doing this. It is difficult to help when you don't
say what you're trying, how it's configured, or what is going wrong, but
I'll try to give a generic answer.
A typical printer is an Okidata 320 Turbo. It can be connected via serial
(COM1), parallel (LPT1), or USB. Parallel is easiest.
In the setup in Millennium, you MUST checkmark "Enable Direct Text
Printing". This tells Millennium to write directly to a "file" named
"COM1" or "LPT1", as determined by "Printer for direct text printing is
attached to serial port".
If Direct Text Printing is NOT enabled, then the Java print engine tries
to print the data, using the Windows printer driver. This does NOT work
well.
