webpub.def file

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out the webpub.def file. I checked p.105418 in the 
manual which seems to be the only place it is mentioned. I called 
Innovative for some help. The person I talked to created a sample 
webpub.def file in the staging area for me, added webpubdef=true to the 
wwwoptions file there (which I cannot find documented anywhere but the 
gentleman said it was needed) and it didn't work. He said it should so he 
was going to research it further.

While waiting to hear back from him I thought I'd turn to the collective 
knowledge here. There are a few mentions of this file in the list archive. 
Would someone who has used this be willing to talk to me about it? I'm 
hoping there is something simple I am missing. Basically what we are 
exploring is adding a field in the bibliographic display for opacmsg. The 
Innovative person I was dealing with said they could do it but using this 
webpub.def I should also be able to do it. The nice thing about this file 
(I'm hoping) is we could look at it in the staging area before we decided. 
Before he really understood what I was asking the help desk person changed 
it for me but it showed up in both the staging and the live area, which I 
wasn't ready for.
