Hello,

I've just finished deleting multiple *938 fields from records in a Review list, using Millennium (Global Update, not Rapid Update). You need to right click on the 'toggle' icon, choose 'Variable length fields', and then choose the appropriate Innopac tag.
Then you'll be able to specify that you only want to delete the *019 fields with first indicator '1'. I have not had any luck with doing this sort of update using Telnet.

Ailsa.

Kevin,

I thought you had to specify indicator values when deleting variable
length fields on rapid update. I've often tried to delete variable length
fields without bothering to include indicator values and wondered why no
field has been deleted.
