Subject: Z39.50 connection to NLM


Our library uses MESH headings and we check records and sometimes 
download bib records from NLM (National Library of Medicine).  However, 
we are unable to search by the ISBN or ISSN number.  Searching for 
records using titles bring up many records that we have to wade through 
and it is not very productive. Does anyone face this problem? Or if you 
are successfully searching the NLM catalogue by ISSN or ISBN, please 
advise.
