Are any of the libraries that are having problems with patron login
information showing up when it shouldn't using the SSL option for patron
verification?

Given the random nature of the problem, I'll bet that the problem is
with intermediary web caching services, especially if most of those
reporting the issue are AOL or NetZero customers as they both employ
extremely heavy use of caching services. 

I've been unable to duplicate the problem of being able to 'back' to
the patron information with our site.
