John,
We have found that a popup from Accordex is the problem in Explorer. If you check YES always to the Accordex box the printing will go through. If not, the print never takes place.

Subject: Electronic course reserves
We are attempting to implement Electronic Course Reserves and have run into a problem in that printing does not seem to work. In Internet Explorer a box appears indicating the pages are being sent to the printer but nothing ever is. In Opera and Mozilla a message appears saying "Printing is not supported by this browser." Has anyone found a fix for this? Is this a Java version problem? We are on Phase 3.
I have opened a call on this.
Thanks
