We had the problem of freezing during logon with MilAcq. The problem is
not with the bat or exe files. File a ticket with Innovative. This should
by now be a known problem and there is a patch they can apply. It stopped
the freezing at our site. -- Howard

It could be a conflict with your video card. We cannot get the client to
load on two different dell machines 1. Optiplex GX260 with the Radeon VE
video card and 2. an older Optiplex 200 which exhibits the same freezing
behavior on load.
The only solution offered by anyone is to go out and buy a different
video card and hope that is works.
In our case with the Optiplex 260 we have Dells ultra sharp 1800 flat
panel monitors which only accept digital input. We have not yet found a
video card that will work. Mark Bayles, Chapel Hill Public Library

After upgrading to Phase 3 last week, we are now seeing some of the same
trouble Howard describes. For us, the trouble is with Mil Circ loading
correctly and not freezing during the logon. Here it's failing on a
Win98se
PC, whether logging on via the iiirunner.bat icon , a logon-embedded
icon,
or either placed in the Startup folder during boot up. We've
reinstalled
the Mil client with no improvement. Don't know what the problem is.
The PC we're seeing this problem on also runs Deep Freeze security
software.
A similarly configured PC running Fortres Security is not having the
problem, so it seems Deep Freeze might be interfering w/ Java logon?
Any clues or suggestion?
Do people find the Java scrolling info helpful to diagnose these kinds
of
things?

Subject: R2002 Phase 3 Freezing on Windows98
I just wanted to mention that in response to my posting yesterday about
Millennium freezing during the login on Windows 98 machines, I have
received two private responses from other sites indicating that
Millennium
R2002 Phase 3 is having problems during the login on Windows 98
machines. One site mentioned MilAcq and the other mentioned MilCat.
Both
have open tickets. Neither embeds the logins in the shortcut. I
changed
our shortcuts to the iiirunner.bat to see if that solves our problem.
