Greetings!
I am turning to the collective brain power of the group for a couple of
answers related to the proxy server and the Web Access Management (WAM)
Forwarding Table.
1) Marquette is a subscriber to the LSSI (now Turnitin.com) 24/7
Reference service. For some reason we are no longer able to co-browse
any databases other than ProQuest (and not all of their modules either).
To help troubleshoot the problem, I have made, at the request of the
Techs at Turnitin/LSSI, several changes to our WAM table. Unfortunately
due to the current entry limit on the table I have also had to delete
some entries. Absolutely unfortunately I have had to delete my original
WAM table entries for LSSI.
Is anyone out there in III land willing to share their WAM table
entry(ies) for this service?
2) This next question is for those who have been with III for a while
and remember the now non-supported WAM "token" method of entering URLs
(yourserver/wm/token). While III no longer supports this method it
still worked on our system up until mid-December. What I cannot figure
out is why some entries still work and others do not. I realize that
the IPs/URLs listed cannot have wild card characters. However even
amongst those that have full IPs or URLs some work with the token method
and others don't. What am I missing? Shouldn't they all work or all
fail?
