When you add a new system code into the INNOPAC, you need to restart the Millennium client to see it. So assuming that you entered it into your system on one day, the next day, it should be there. From what I understand, as this function moves from telnet to Millennium, you will still need to restart for other Millennium clients (ie computers on other people's desks) to see the new codes. This is true for the codes that can be entered and edited such as vendor and fund codes.
I thought it might be nice to have a "refresh jar" enhancement so that without restarting your client, you can go back to the server and get all the new codes, etc. Speaking of which, I will have an update later today on the IUG enhancements process.
Hope this helps --
Best -- Corey

Subject: How does one add a patron type into millennium other templates?
Dear everyone:
I have just add a new patron type "guest" for those short term patrons, but
I did not find a way to add this type into Millennium
Circ. When I try to add a new patron in to the record, there are still old
patron type there.
I really appreciate it if someone can help me out. Thanks
Hongfei
