- Subject: Offline backup software installed for Winterms
My library needs to install the offline backup software on our server, for use by our 5 circ terminals. The terminals are "Winterms", like a dumb terminal, but with color and graphics. This means there's no harddrive at each circ station, just a monitor and keyboard leading back to the single server in our building.
My question is will the software allow for this kind of installation? We would need 5 files for the collected data, one for each terminal. Does the software allow this? Or do I need to tweak things and install the software 5 times under 5 users?
Anyone else ever try this kind of installation?
BTW, we're a member of a network running Millcirc 1.4.1.
Any info appreciated,
