We have been adding new ptypes using the character-based Innopac system, menu selections: A>A>S>N>T    As far as I know there is not a way to add ptypes through the Millenium client (but I could be wrong)

Here's one for you -- We ran into a problem the other day with a ptype that we added: 008 for Staff.  It happened that there actually was a Staff ptype on the system from the standard III setup and it was waayyyyy down in the list as 199. Because it was so far down the list we never saw it. The problem occurred because there were two ptypes with the same name, only one of the ptypes displayed in the Millenium circulation client. My point is, watch out before you add new ptypes and be sure that the name of the ptype is different than anything that is already in the list.

I have just add a new patron type "guest" for those short term patrons, but
I did not find a way to add this type into Millennium 
Circ. When I try to add a new patron in to the record, there are still old
patron type there.
