Its pretty easy to do. Just display the detailed
file, print it to email then save the email message as a text file.
The file has fixed column widths, so just open it with excel, and excel
will prompt you to click on the spaces between columns (break points).
after that it will convert to a regular excel file and you can use
filtering etc. to do more analysis, or your could export to a database if
you want more abilities to run quereis etc.

Subject: Fines Paid Review
I am looking for ways to pull the entire Fines Paid information into a spreadsheet in order to do analysis. The canned reports do not meet my needs and I want to pull all fields in order to break it down by my different libraries. Does anyone have any information on this file and how to extract it to a text file? We are having problems with FTS.
Thanks
