The general rule of thumb is to buy the PC with the higher front side bus
speed, and secondly the memory. The front side bus speed will increase the
overall performance of the machine. I found that anything over 600 FSB will
work well with 256MB of RAM. Ideally if you can get 512MB with a good FSB
running XP PRO you shouldn't experience many problems.
We are running Pentium 4 Processor, 2.40 GHz, FSB 600, with 512MB RAM.

Subject: Real Memory Need to run Millennium
Hey All,
Does anyone have a recommendation for the actual amount of memory that is
needed to run Millennium efficiently? The III recommendation does not work
for us. We have on average 8-10 windows open at a time, about half of which
are memory eaters.
Thanks
Melodie Frances
