massive and automatic change on patrons?

Dear Friends

 

I need to update to almost all my patrons (some thousands), who are students
that renewed, their academic status to current for the New Year, only that I
need is change their exp_date to 12/31/2004.

 

I have a plain file with the univ_id, originated from other system.

 

Does somebody know an automatic way to made it, using expect, perl o
whatever?
