Hi Paul,

We print ovedue notices and bills on our Okidata Microline 395 printer using 5.5 x 7 folding forms.  We average about 50 overdue notices a day and about 30 bills.  Stuffing the notices into envelopes takes just a few minutes can be done in between other tasks. We are in the process of gathering email adresses from our patrons but are not yet committed to sending notices via email, but it is a goal.

Our setup during circ training of the standard form was pretty straightforward. And we understand that this is the typical scenario on III. Are libraries happy with folding&stuffing approach? Do you use a folding machine and if so, what manufacturer and model do you recommend to use, or not use? Do you use crash mailers, and if so, what are the challenges and resolutions to notices that run longer than the single page of the crash mailer? Any advice will be appreciated.
