Martin,
According to Release 2003 Enhancement list, this feature will be available in Release 2003 (or the next major release after 2002 Phase 3).
Up to now, there is no way to setup webpac so one can search records based on the availability. The only thing that might be close to this is to use the brief citation display to show the item status message in the browse screen, so patron could see the status of the item before going to the record display page only to find out that the item is not available.

Subject: Searching for only available items
Is there any way of setting up Innopac so one option would be to search for
only "available" items?
I mean so the patron could search for and display only available items!!
Many patrons give up having searched for a while, only finding checked out
items in many cases with holds.
Any help or suggestion welcome!!
Regards,
Martin Linden
