Hi Nancy,
You identified the problem. As our public opacs are all in kiosk mode, our
users cannot log out of the browser after their session is over. However,
emptying the shopping cart after requesting the items in the cart works like
a charm. Innovative is treating this like a bug and is working on a patch.
Thanks for your work-around which will help until the patch is ready.

Try closing the browser (our students have to log in and out for each
person so we aren't having this problem).
Another option is, before you log out of the first patron record, empty
your basket/clear your cart. Even though you completed your request it is
not automatically cleared. Hence those items appear for next patron. I
learned this at MN IUG conference. I believe that this is not what most
people want to do, request and empty the cart (not intuitive). I am not
sure what is being done to correct or change this.
