We have been receiving invoices via FTP for some time now. It works quite
well and saves huge amounts of time by not having to manually input large
invoices. Once Ebsco has attached your III order numbers, the processing
is quite simple. Just be sure to inform Ebsco if your order number changes
for some reason (i.e. title change, maximum number of invoice lines
reached). The only problem we had initially was order numbers
"disappearing" from our records, but III has since corrected this problem
by adding these numbers to the "base" order records instead of each
individual order for a volume or year. I can send our internal manual to
you if you'd like.
