To all concerned,

I did a few tests on some Ebsco and CSA database (including Sociological abstracts) 
and found that the non-proxy version did only load marginally quicker (1 to 2 seconds). 
Sociological Abstracts actually loads quicker via the auto-proxy. Other factors such as 
server speed, network etc have always been relevant at Luton when solving slow 
transactions times. Try re-starting your webserver and proxy server and then running 
the test and see what results you get??
