I would love it if this could be done Julie. I would almost swear it was an
enhancement III talked about several years ago but then it disappeared in
the final list. Maybe it was just on the IUG enhancement list for voting.
It is just good password practice to change it on a regular basis. Now all
we can do is nag. I think we managed to convince a lot of our staff members
to change their password back in 1998 (we came up in 1992) but most haven't
since then. When you think of the information about people that a hacker
could find out if they were to acquire the right password (those of someone
who could view patron records for instance), not to mention the havoc they
could wreak in the catalog, it seems more important.
