I've been searching the III manual for help with creating the 949 command
to overlay locally created name authority records with the authoritative
OCLC records for same.
On page 101516 the manual says "In OCLC use recs=b; to transfer
Bibliographic records (with or without attached Item information) or
Authority records."
Which would lead me to believe that this command line would
work: 949 *recs=b;ov=.a_________;
but that command line does not work.
Our load table for name authority is anam, so I also tried
949 *recs=anam;ov=.a_______; no go their either.
Does anyone know how to do this, I did read the manual and I'm still not
able to get it to work.
