- Subject: Embedded IPs and software migration
I will be migrating our III software to a new server on Monday. A major sticking point is the fact that our University is just about out of IP addresses. University networking needed our new server to function off of a hostname rather than a
static IP address. III's software cannot do this. I would like to submit an enhancement request that would change this dependency on a static IP.
Has anyone else had this experience? I'd like some other opinions. I have never submitted an enhancement request before. Thanks very much.
