This possibly may be caused by delays in the network - in getting through
the network proxy.  We had one pc set up directly with the server - it did
not route through the network proxy.  There were never any delays or
problems on that pc, especially compared to the rest of the staff
computers.  Also, heavy network traffic could cause enough delays to fiddle
with the interactions with the server.
