David,

We implemented an RFID system about 18 months ago and are still tagging
and barcoding the collection (yes, we implemented online checkin at the
same time). We anticipate always having an eye readable barcode or an
eyereadable number printed on the tag. We have not reaching the point
of actually having to make this decision yet though, but would be happy
to talk to you anytime and to find out what your final decision is.
