Eric
Maybe just beginner's luck, but we had no problems with TNS, TRS, the selfchecks or WAM.
I'll guess that this is because all these devices are IP dependent and there is no reason your net access table should change.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd remove the old clients first and do fresh installs of the new. But, this raises some difficult scheduling problems in multi-building systems.

Subject: TNS, TRS and Self-check after upgrade to Phase 3

I am planning to do my first system upgrade - we are presently using Phase
	1. I know that I will need to load Phase 2 software before loading Phase 3.
Once Phase 3 is installed, are there any setting changes in Millennium or
other changes I will need to make to the Telephone Notification System, the
Telephone Renewal System and the 3M 6210 and 5210 self-checks after the
upgrade? Also, I plan to remove the old JRE once I install JRE 1.4.1 on the
clients. Does removing the old JRE cause any problems? I read that I must
leave the old Millennium icon on the desktop - does the admonition to resist
the temptation to tidy up the desktop still prevail? Are there any issues
regarding remote access to the OPAC, online renewal or people accessing
their records? Any hints or suggestions regarding issues beyond the
pre-upgrade checks and Upgrade Instructions in CSDirect will be appreciated!
