- Subject: Re: Using Millenium on a Macintosh
I am interested in running Millennium on Mac's. The information that I have found out so far, is that you must be running at least version OS X 10.2.6, or later to install the java 1.4.1 which is needed to run the phase 3 millennium clients. III's documentation for mac's states that your OS X must be at least Mac OS X 10.2.3 or later in order to run JRE 1.4.1 . III provides an installer for the mac's, but the installer expects the java 1.4.1 to be already on the computer. The installer does not provide the java 1.4.1, nor will the installer work without the java 1.4.1 being present on your mac. You can find the installation file for java 1.4.1 for OS X at http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/java.html.
Thanks,
Gene
