Here at Gettysburg College, we currently run a turnkey triple I system
running on a DEC Alpha 433 that's about five years old.

It's showing its age and we are thinking of upgrading.

Innovative has suggested a new 600 MHz Dec Alpha system. Our technical
people are not too keen on Dec Alpha's,

though, as they indicate the industry has somewhat turned away from
these systems. As a result, we thought we would explore our options.

Is anyone else running on non Dec hardware? In particular, Pentium based
hardware?

Is anyone running a software only system, meaning running it on their
own hardware and getting only software support from

triple I?

It would be helpful to me to hear (offline of the listserv) from those
folks that answer affirmatively to either of those two questions.

I can summarize responses to the list if people are interested.

Thanks for the help,

Alice
