Hi Jamen!
It seems there are two issues here. In terms of how long you might want to
keep order records, you might want to check with your parent institution to
see what their expectations are in terms of retention of records for
preservation of your audit trail. For instance, since we do not order
through the University purchasing system, we are expected to keep order
data for 7 years, when possible. (There are other implications relating to
fiscals and reports if you delete order records too quickly/frequently.)
In terms of the display, there is a setting in the OPAC options that
controls the display of order records in the OPAC. Manual page #101877
lists all the options and you might want to look at option 15. It will
show what your options are and you might want to change your settings if
it's not displaying as you would like. (Can't remember if this needs to be
requested through the HelpDesk or not?!)
Hope this helps!
