We keep order records in our system for 3 months. Then we create a
list of items that have been received and delete them. Our order
records never show "in processing". They show "on order" and once
we've received them, they show an "a" that indicates received. Our
cataloged items show "in processing" until they've been checked in
at the appropriate branch.
