Phyllis,
Congratulations on the renovation!
We just finished our 3 years of renovating and adding a 4th floor to our current building. We have had brown outs and black outs, planned and unplanned.
We just had our final planned power outage for this years construction on campus last Sunday. At least, I hope it was the final one.
The INNOPAC shutdown perfectly, but wouldn't' let me in when the power was restored. I called the helpdesk and the technician was able to reboot and get us back up and running. This was Sunday! I was thrilled beyond measure.
I would strongly recommend that you contact the help desk and have them open a call for you, especially when the switch over is planned. After you come back up and running, then call III and have them check your system.
They will let you know if they find anything out of the norm.
Good Luck!
Laura

We are a small library in the middle of a renovation. We have recently found out that our electrical to the building will need to be upgraded. The electric company and contractors are unable to do a power down switch over and power back up. The Library will be on a generator for approximately a week. Has any Innovative Library been placed on a generator? Would you be willing to share your experiences, problems with me. I don't have the particulars on the size of the generator at this time, but understand it is the size of a semi truck. This switch will be in 2 weeks. Thank you all in advance for any information you can give me.
